Introduction

Hi! I'm a fairly new mommy to two adorable doxies named Mr. Weenie and Miss Winnie. I am looking forward to meeting other small breed dog owners and sharing tips, etc.!

Tell us about your dog, shy, friendly, outgoing, favorite toy, lap pup, etc.

Mr. Weenie just loves to play with other dogs and he is apparently unaware of his small size! Miss Winnie is rather fearful of other dogs - she would much rather run from human to human for a belly rub. One of my goals is to have Winnie become more at ease with other dogs and perhaps join in on the doggie fun.

What is the name, age, and breed of your dog?

Mr. Weenie is a 1 year old miniature red, longhaired dachshund and Miss Winnie is 7 1/2 months old and is small red, longhaired standard dachshund.

Please give a birthdate for your dog/dogs, if you don't know, guesstimate or make one up. This is for gifts during Meetups for those dogs celebrating a birthday. For rescue dogs with unknown birthdates, the day you adopted them would be great!

Both dogs are from rescues, but I would guess that Mr. Weenie's birthday is sometime in late June and Miss Winnie's is sometime in November.
