A couple owns 5 dogs and keeps 2 leashed in the park. The man claims they are leashed because he "does not trust" them. Last night one of the leashed dogs bit a small lab puppy as well as the puppy's owner. These people intend to keep bringing the dog to the park. This WAS NOT the 1st incident with this dog. If you are there (I'm sure you know who they are) and they show up please yell "aggressive dog" so the other people can move their dogs to a safe place, which is as far away from this dog as possible. I emailed the person and asked for a description of the dog that bit the lab puppy AND it's owner and here is the reply I recd: Q: I do go to this dog park ? can you please tell me what breed / size of dog the biting dog is? I usually go in the Small Dog area cuz I have a Chihuahua? Thanks? A: What time do you usually go? I am there every day from 4:30-7:00. Anyways, it is a large, black mixed breed. This couple fosters animals. The man sits on the bench under the gazebo and keeps the 2 largest dogs (both black) on a leash. I would guess a lab/akita mix? Something like that. If you see them, STAY AWAY! |
